DENZA attends the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s 80th Anniversary Gala Evening as title sponsor

31 March 2026  DENZA, the premium brand of BYD, proudly supported the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) as title sponsor at its 80th Anniversary Gala Evening. Held within the stunning Raphael Court within the Victoria & Albert Museum, London on 12th March, the evening was an opportunity for the RPO to thank its closest friends and supporters. 

The RPO performs approximately 200 concerts each year and attracts an audience both live and online of more than 80 million people. Its mission is to enrich lives through orchestral experiences, and place orchestral music at the heart of contemporary society. Whilst artistic integrity remains paramount, the RPO is unafraid to push boundaries and is equally at home recording video game, film and television soundtracks and working with pop stars, as it is touring the world performing the great symphonic repertoire. 

During an evening which celebrated eight decades of extraordinary music making, award-winning pianist Lucas Krupinski with the RPO String Quintet, performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.9, while the RPO Brass Quintet performed pieces from Sherwin, Elgar and more.

The RPO’s diverse, exciting remit has clear parallels with DENZA, whose mission to ensure Technology Drives Elegance This mission is made possible by supporters of the RPO. The Z9 GT, which will be the first DENZA model to launch in the UK in summer 2026, is a vehicle built with aural excellence at the forefront. Through DENZA's audio partner Devialet, the Z9 GT features a 27-speaker audio system will offer customers not only the highest standard of driving experience, but one enhanced by unmatched sound experiences.
